I recently had this situation where I couldn’t sleep all night because I had accidentally dried out (and then ruined) the gray circle lenses that I bought in Korea. Although I don’t wear lenses every day – as I work in front of a computer and am often very tired – I like to wear them when I go out for for special occasions. I think they can give a nice finishing touch to make up and, unlike thick false lashes, I’m pretty comfortable in them. I actually only started wearing lenses recently too! The lenses came in this super cute pop art styled box which is specifically branded for Lenspop (which is their Korean online store, I think?) The overall parcel was packaged well and came quickly too. The lenses were professionally packaged in a plastic holder and come with a free lens case and a tweezer. Personally, I don’t use the tweezers much but the case is important.
If it’s your first time buying/wearing lenses, you just need to make sure that you have a bottle of solution. You should be able to purchase them easily at any optometrist or even a convenience store.
The ELLEN 3COLOR lenses come in the power between 0.00 and 5.00. As I don’t usually wear glasses, the non-prescription pair is perfect for me. On their website, you can also choose different strengths for each lens, which will definitely be useful.
Overall the shipping was very quick (around one week by k-packet which is standard shipping), packaging was sturdy and the product looks very good.
There are definitely cuter lens cases that you can purchase, but these are the standard style and very sufficient. I have three pairs and, for one pair, I also have a bear carry case where I can slip this case into. I usually use that to carry it around in my hand bag.
From my experience, I would rate the service and products at Klenspop pretty highly. They’re very polite and helpful and their website has so many blogger reviews and a wide variety of products, so you will definitely find something to your style. As for the actual lenses… here goes!
They’re pretty, aren’t they? I was pretty surprised that how nicely they showed up on my very dark (almost black) eyes. The outside of the lenses are gray and the inside ring yellow. At first, I thought they they would look a bit strange, but this combination of colours actually help them blend into my actual eye color. They have a pretty natural look to them with a slight, subtle enlargement effect.
These photos were taking with bright softboxes to imitate how they will look in bright daylight.

WOULD I REPURCHASE?
Definitely. I’m happy to have found a reliable and good quality online seller for Korean lenses as they are so ridiculously overpriced in Australia (forty dollars for a one month pair, if not more) unless you buy them from market stands… and to be honest, those places scare me. The prices on Klenspop are definitely cheap by my standards, but they are reflective of the normal RRP price in Korea.
HELPFUL TIP
If you’re having trouble, and especially if it’s your first time, use one hand to pull back both top and bottom eyelids before popping them in. If it takes a long time, stop and take a break in between, ensuring to keep washing your contacts with the solution only. Keeping the lenses moist helps when putting them in.
