Review: +C Vit Collection (Pixi Beauty)

Pixi +C Vit Collection - Under Eye Brightener, Priming Oil, Brightening Perfector and Lip Brightener

This product was sent to me for review purposes.

For those looking to boost their skincare routine, Vitamin C is often one of the main go-tos. I’ve been a big fan of the ingredient ever since I started my skincare journey; in fact, it was one of the first ‘serums’ that I ever used. The natural next step would be a question of how to incorporate Vitamin C into our daily makeup routine too – and Pixi Beauty has done exactly that.

The +C Vit Collection is a hybrid skincare-makeup collection, mostly consisting of brightening products that work as a skin prep to the rest of your make up. They have both immediate and long-term benefits and consists of four products: the Undereye Brightener, Brightening Perfector, Priming Oil and the Lip Brightener – all of which are currently available on the Pixi Beauty website.

Head over there to check them out but, in the meantime, I’ll share with you some information (and personal thoughts) on the whole collection!

Review: Rom&ntic Moonight Collection (Rom&nd x NEONMOON)

Romand x Neonmoon Kbeauty Makeup Review StyleKorean

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

If you follow me on Instagram, then this is not a surprise to you – I am obsessed with the Rom&ntic Moonight collection! This is a collaboration between Rom&nd (who I have reviewed before) and a Korean brand called NEONMOON – they are primarily a retro inspired fashion brand and I love them! They are actually a big inspiration for my online store too (so you can see how I love them). Their brand is about a fun, nostalgic aesthetic and bright colours – perfectly reflected in these products.

I don’t have everything from this collection (because it would be insane if I did) but I’ve got almost everything – and I need to share my thoughts with you! I am so happy with this collection: from the packaging to the formulas.. it’s brilliant. Today I’ll be showing you the Zero Cushion, Better Than Eyes Quad, Better Than Cheek Blushes and the Glasting Water Tint. The only product that I’m missing is the Glasting Water Gloss – but it’s available if you want to get it!

This whole collection is available at StyleKorean with prices ranging from USD$11.20 – USD$20.80. This collection is limited edition so check out their website to get your hands on this quick (you won’t regret it).

Before you do that though, let’s get right into this review!

First Impressions: K-Beauty Haul (Stylevana)

Stylevana KBeauty Review Jigott Real Ampoule Mask, Frudia Blueberry Hydration Mask, Labiotte Wine Lip Tint, Logically Skin Aquatide Resurface Serum, Chica Y Chico One Shot Eye Palette

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that there is an affiliate code advertised.

New products and deliveries are always so exciting for me – so yes, I was super keen when this package from Stylevana arrived. I was starting to feel overwhelmed for a while but since pulling back on my spending and on some PR in the past few months, it’s given me more of a chance to enjoy what I do (and work at my own pace).

This haul is a new collaboration for me! Stylevana is an online store that specialises in Asian beauty – they carry products from Korea, Japan and even Taiwan. The latter two are less talked about because they’re harder to access online, so I’m glad that there’s a new source for them! Aside from the big range of products, Stylevana also offers free shipping for orders over USD$55.

From now until the end of November, you can also get 10-15% off your order with my code INF10STELLAR (excluding weekend deals and instant offers since they are already on sale).

So, read on if you’re keen to see what I received! I’ll be putting my initial thoughts into this post rather that full on reviews (especially for the Logically, Skin Serum) since I think that I’ll need to use that much more extensively to give proper insight. Here goes!

Review: Layering Lip Bar in Stubborn Rose (Laneige)

Laneige Layering Lip Bar Stubborn Rose Kbeauty Review StyleKorean

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

It’s no secret that I’m a massive fan of Laneige, and I’ve been pretty dedicated in trying out all of their lip bar range – from the original, matte to tint, I’m literally tried them all. Along with their cushion (which is still one of my top favourites to this day) their lip bar was my introduction to the brand; this is back when the original was still selling out at a lot of stores.

Since then, they have released a number of additional formulas with this same gradient concept and – in my opinion – these are far superior to the original (which had always been a bit patchy for me). This new Layering Lip Bar has an updated layering design for more consistent application and comes in both Cream and Matte formulas spread over 20 shades.

I received this product to review and definitely want to get a few more shades – especially to try out the matte formula too! It’s currently selling for USD$25.20 (on sale from USD$36) from the StyleKorean website – they actually stock quite a lot of Laniege top products, so I would recommend checking out the range in general.

If you’re keen on this lip bar, or want to know how it compares with the others, read on for this review!

Review: Jeju Cherry Blossom Collection (Innisfree)

Innisfree Cherry Blossom Collection Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes.

Cute collections always make me smile and, of course, Innisfree has succeeded again with their 2020 Jeju Color Picker Collection – this year inspired by cherry blossoms! It is perfectly timed with the season in Korea and was available from March to the end of April, but availability has been extended due to recent events. Instead, they will sell the remaining stock once they reopen stores too!

All of these products take inspiration from the blossoms, so you can expect gorgeous packaging and a lot of pink! This collection includes a Nail Set, Matte Mineral Setting Powder, Luminizer, Lip Tinted Sticks (available in 3 shades) and – of course – the Cherry Blossom Eyeshadow Palette. I was lucky enough to get my hands on most of this collection and I am in love! It’s actually rare that I like every single thing in a collection, but I couldn’t find a way to dislike anything. I’ll say it now that this is definitely highly recommended from me.

That being said, Innifree stores in Australia are currently closed due to COVID19 so they are only selling from their official stockist (AdoreBeauty), as well as other unofficial stores. I noticed that AdoreBeauty only carry their skincare so if you’d like to get anything from this collection, you may need to wait until stores reopen here in Australia. It’s worth the wait though!

And now, let’s get into this review!
