Review: Winter Checkered Special Pouch Kit (Etude House)

Etude House Winter Checkered Special Pouch Kit - StyleKorean K-Beauty Review

I love collecting limited edition releases, especially when it’s makeup! This is probably where the majority of my money goes – I’m just super weak for cute packaging and fun concepts. For Christmas, Etude House had released their Winter Checkered Special Pouch Kit. It features an exclusive eyeshadow quad, packaged with a velvet drawstring pouch and a pretty box. This is essentially a gift that doesn’t need wrapping at all!

Although this review is coming a little late (it is February after all), this is still available on StyleKorean for USD$21 – on sale from USD$30. I’m actually quite impressed with the formula so, if you’re looking for a super wearable eyeshadow quad, this is going to be a fun gift to yourself.

Now, let’s get into this review!

Review: All Take Mood Cheek Palette in Nude in Mood (Peripera)

Peripera All Take Mood Cheek Palette in Nude is Mood Kbeauty Palette

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

For me, the past year has been all about casual, easy-to-wear make up looks – perhaps it’s because I spent most of the last two years wearing a mask, or maybe because I was in lockdown for months. The perk of more ‘natural’ make up looks is that they’re a lot lower maintenance and take less time to put together.

The All Take Mood Cheek Palette from Peripera is great for these natural make up looks. There are three variations in total, all containing three shades, but the one I’ll be reviewing the Nude in Mood. This one is quite light and sheer, so would be great for people with a fairer skin tone.

All of the variations are available on StyleKorean for USD$16 (on sale from USD$20), so pop over if you’d like to find out more! In the meantime, let’s jump into this review!

Review: Artichoke Intensive Skin Barrier Ampoule (AXIS-Y)

AXIS-Y Artichoke Intensive Skin Barrier Ampoule Kbeauty Review

This is a sponsored (paid) post. Please note that referral links or codes may be used.

I’ve been testing out a number of AXIS-Y products lately, and the latest one is the Artichoke Intensive Skin Barrier Ampoule. Ampoules are pretty much a supercharged serum that contain a high concentration of actives. They act as an immediate boost to your routine and can be switched up according to your skin condition.

The difference between ampoules and serums is that serums are typically used twice daily, whilst the much stronger ampoule is only used on occasion. It should also have a more specific formulation, focusing on just one or two skin benefits rather than multiple.

The Artichoke Intensive Skin Barrier Ampoule is available at AXIS-Y for USD$25, so head on over if you’d like to check it out or pop over to their Instagram to find out about more of their range. And now, it’s onto the review!

Review: Cera-Heart My Type Duo Cream (AXIS-Y)

AXIS-Y Cera-Heart My Type Duo Cream Kbeauty Review

This is a sponsored (paid) post. Please note that referral links or codes may be used.

For those with combination skin or just skin that changes all year round, the AXIS-Y Cera-Heart My Type Duo Cream has got you covered! This was designed to allow you to customise your skincare routine day-by-day. I’ve been using it for the past three or four weeks and my skin has had it rough – my sleep cycle is pretty much non-existent, the weather in Australia is unpredictable and I’m definitely drinking too much boba! It’s been a real saviour and I love that it can cover me from day to night.

The Cera-Heart My Type Duo Cream is currently available at AXIS-Y for just USD$27. Before you jump over though, let’s get into this review!

Review: Ink Mood Matte Tint (Peripera)

Peripera Ink Mood Matte Tint Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

The only thing I’m more obsessed with than eyeshadow palettes, are lip products. I had a pretty huge collection even before I really got into beauty blogging and it’s only gotten worse (in a good way). I recently got my hands on the entire collection of the Ink Mood Matte Tints from Peripera, and there are some beautiful shades here!

For those who don’t know, Peripera is the sister brand of CLIO and they are well known for their lip products. Although I’m not sure about the release dates, it seems that the Ink Mood Matte Tint have been released to be alongside the Ink Mood Matte Stick – so anyone who likes a matte, feathered finish can find it in either formula.

You can check out the Ink Mood Matte Tints at StyleKorean for just USD$7.90 (on sale from USD$12) and, of course, read on for the full review and lip swatches.
