Review: Real Vita C Serum & Powder Lemon (Neogen)

Neogen Real Vita C Powder Lemon and Serum Kbeauty Review Neogen

This product was sent to me for review purposes.

If you’re a lover of Vitamin C (like me) then this new collection from Neogen is definitely going to spark your fancy. I received this from them as PR and, I have to say, I have been waiting really eagerly for new skincare from their brand – I always have amazing experiences with Neogen and if anyone was going to be a nice Vitamin C serum, I knew they would.

I have been very concerned with pigmentation and unevenness of my skin lately so I have been testing this product out with dedication! Although I don’t think it had lightened up my pigmentation overall (so far, nothing has been successful) it has done my skin well overall!

I’ll be telling you more about my personal experiences in this review. From Neogen, I will be talking about their Real Vita C Serum and always their Real Vita C Powder Lemon (which might be the most unique and genius skincare product I have seen all year!)

Let’s get into it!

New Release: A-Clear Soothing Line (Neogen)

Neogen Dermalogy A Clear Soothing Collection Review Kbeauty

This product was sent to me for review purposes.

Acne and break outs aren’t an issue for everyone (those lucky ducks) but I have personally never met someone who would say no to clear skin. I used to get quite a handful of pimples around high school time but never had acne or problem skin, so to speak. However, my skin type has been changing a lot lately, possibly due to aging as well as a very hectic lifestyle – so I have been trying out a bunch of different anti-acne products.

Some have worked really well for me, some not at all and others were too strong.

It was at this time that Neogen released their new A-Clear Soothing Line and I couldn’t have been more excited to try it out. Their products have been really good for my skin and I had very high expectations for these new releases. Here, I have almost their full A-Clear Soothing collection:

I am missing their A-Clear Aid Soothing Spot Patch, but I will likely purchase them myself soon – once I run out of the ones I am currently working through. For what I do have, I haven’t managed to try out everything extensively yet but will be giving you a good overview of their new releases, as well as giving you my personal thoughts and impressions when I can!

Let’s get into this!

Review: Vita Duo Cream (Neogen)

Neogen Vita Duo Cream

This product was sent to me by Neogen for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that some affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

There are only a handful of kbeauty youtubers that I watch now but I have actually watched a couple of videos from Joan Kim (@JoanKeem) in the past – She is actually the one who introduced me to the Neogen brand! It seems so appropriate that she is now collaborating with them.

This is the Neogen Vita Duo Cream, which she also helped to develop and design (packaging wise). Since I’m not a massive fan of hers, my review of this product is purely based on the formula and it’s role in my skincare routine – and I genuinely love this product! I love the concept of the dual cream, which makes it perfect for travel, and the formulation of it also works really nicely with my skin type. This is a product designed to give your complexion the necessary hydration throughout the day, as well as to provide brightening and soothing benefits (depending on which you use).

This product is currently available on NudieGlow for AUD$52 (down from AUD$55) or on StyleKorean for USD$32 – so you can see which store works best with your home currency. Alternatively, you can shop it directly from Neogen’s Amazon store.

I’ve been testing this out twice a day since I got it, and it’s safe to say that I’m very confident with this write up now. So, let’s get right into this review.

Review: Real Ferment Micro Serum (Neogen)

Neogen Real Ferment Micro Serum Kbeauty Review

This product was provided to me by Neogen for my honest review. Affiliate links are not used in this post.

When I look into products for my skincare routine, I will generally be focusing on hydration and brightening properties – since they are my main skin concerns. I first came across this Real Ferment Micro Serum from Neogen on Instagram, and I was first interested because the packaging looked really sleek and compact. So, I was pretty excited when it showed up at my place in a PR package and I put it to the test that very evening.

From when I first started to use this, I saw immediate results and I’ve been using it once or twice a day since then (except for a few days break when I was having skin allergies from hayfever). This product feels great on my skin and gives me an instant boost of hydration, as well as helping to brighten and (gradually) diminish my acne scarring. The effects that I’ve seen from incorporating this into my skincare routine have been really good, so I’m keen to share this.

This product is selling on either the official Neogen website or their international stockist Sokoglam for USD$38 – on the pricier side, but worth it for the the effectiveness; especially considering that there are many more expensive products.

So, read on for my full detailed review on this!

Review: Real Cica Micellar Cleansing Oil & Foam (Neogen)

Neogen Real Cica Micellar Cleansing Foam and Oil Kbeauty Review

This product was provided to me by Neogen for my honest review. Affiliate links are not used in this post.

You might remember that I did a review of Neogen’s Real Cica Pad a while back and really enjoyed the product. For today, I’ll be returning to that line and writing about their Micellar Cleansing Oil and the Micellar Cleansing Foam. Both of these cleansers are part of their Real Cica line, which targets both hydration and soothing for problem or sensitive skin – I’ve had good results from using Centella Asiatica products (and Cica is a version of it) so I’m pretty excited for this.

People who follow me on Instagram (or know me IRL) will know that I wear a lot of waterproof make up almost every day. It may not necessarily be heavy on my skin, but because of my allergies and being out for long hours, I will generally stick to long lasting products – foundation, eyeshadows, mascara, liner and even super heavy duty lip tints (on special days). For this reason, double cleansing is an essential part of my skincare routine and I can’t go a day without using at least an oil cleanser.

It’s perfect, because these products that Neogen sent me had essentially completed my two step cleansing routine. I’ll discuss both of the products (and packaging) below, before delving into my own opinions on them individually. And, let’s go!
