This is going to be a short post because, unfortunately, these cleansing products didn’t really work out for me – in fact, one of them broke me out. In retrospect, I don’t think that I had a very good time with KLAVUU products (which is surprising because a lot of people legitimately love them). I am thinking that one of their core ingredients just don’t work very well with my skin, which is a shame because I really wanted to love these.

Out of their cleansing products, StyleKorean sent me two from their Pure Pearlsation line – the Cleansing Oil and the Revitalizing Facial Cleansing Foam. As they naturally sit together as a two step cleansing routine, I originally tried them out together but had to drop one completely within a day!

So, if you want to know about my experiences with these products, which one didn’t work for me and what other recommendations I have instead – read on.

I wasn’t always a big fan of the hydrogel eye mask but I have since been full converted. I usually use the Heimish Bulgarian Eye Patches every second night (or sometimes every) because I work on a computer the entire day – in general, my dark eye circles can be pretty intense and the skin around my eyes can also become very dehydrated easily. Those come in a tub and are relatively smaller pieces to target the under eye area – they’re more affordable for regular use.

If you want something that will target a larger area though, it is worth looking into individual eye masks. One of them, which I recently received from StyleKorean as part of their KLAVUU review package (read the overall post here) is their Personal Care Aurora Pearl Eye Mask in the Brightening and Revitalizing variation. These are currently selling for USD$5.24 which is a bit expensive, in my opinion, but still alright if they’re more of a special occasion product.

So, if you’re keen to read more about this product – let’s go! This is going to be a relatively concise one.

Review: White Pearlsation Ideal Actress Backstage Cream (KLAVUU)

I was really excited to try out the KLAVUU products that StyleKorean had sent over to me and, because I am still using up a bunch of other cleansers, I decided to start out with the White Pearlsation Ideal Actress Backstage Cream. This is a product that I originally mistook as a sunscreen, and then figured it was a tone-up cream and then realised that it is actually both. It is a product that can be used underneath make up or alone too.

Unfortunately, this is a product that didn’t suit my skin very well and made me break out – although this is likely to be different individual-to-individual. So, I’m going to be giving you some information on this product, as well as my personal experiences with using it.

This product is selling on the StyleKorean website for USD$34.24, which is relatively expensive – as many KLAVUU products are. There are definitely other tone up creams that are more affordable and have a more lightweight formula.

So, here’s the review!

Review: KLAVUU (StyleKorean)

Klavuu Pure Pearlsation Kbeauty Review StyleKorean

KLAVUU is one of those brands that I’ve been curious about (I was actually first introduced to them at the BONIIK event) but I haven’t tried anything from, mostly because their products can run a bit expensive (in relation to other Korean skincare). However, I’ve heard really good things about their brand especially in the areas of complexion brightening – which people will know is one of my main skin concerns. So when I saw on instagram that StyleKorean was recruiting people for a KLAVUU try me; review me – I applied right away!

I haven’t tried out all of these products yet, as I am currently recovering from a skin allergy from last week, so I thought I would instead write about these products to share the KLAVUU range before doing in-depth reviews later on. I don’t have everything from them (of course), but I was sent a selection of items to review – the Personal Care Aurora Pearl Eye Mask, Pure Pearlsation Revitalizing Facial Cleansing Foam, Pure Pearlsation Divine Pearl Cleansing Oil and the White Pearlsation Ideal Actress Backstage Cream.

So, if you want to know more about KLAVUU or if you’re curious about any of these products, read on!
