I have a minor insecurity about my lips, though I do find myself complaining about it pretty often. I feel like I have pretty small and flat lips, with very little to no definition at the cupid’s bow which makes it a big irritating to do a full lip look. In the past, I have definitely contemplated getting fillers but there have been a few things that made me hesitant: Pain factor, Maintenance and Cost. And, of course, potential side effects.

In lieu of that, I’ve been looking into cosmetic lip plumpers, which would give me the temporary effect that I’ve after without any procedure. Most of what I’ve found (and tried) have been in gloss form, but it was really surprised to find that Nakeup Face have released a lip plumping lipstick – their C-Cup Lip Tox Tick (and yes, the C-Cup thing did make me giggle a little). This is a full, traditional bullet lipstick with plumping properties, so it’s really different to everything else I’ve seen on the market.

For this review, StyleKorean sent me two of these lipsticks to try out – Kiss Mark, which is a beautiful bright red, and Marilyn, rose pink. They have this lipstick in five different shades, ranging from pinks to rosy reds and there is currently three of these shades in stock on their website. Hopefully, they will all be available again soon! These are selling for USD$23.55 each so if you’re looking to plump your lips and you’re also a fan of vibrant lipsticks, then this might be just the formula for you.

Read on for my thoughts on this!

Review: AHA Scaling Cream (Nakeup Face)

StyleKorean Nakeup Face 10& 5% Glycolic Acid AHA Scaling Cream KBeauty Review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

I was seeing this cream from Nakeup Face all over my Facebook feed and I was so curious to test it out, but the title Scaling Cream felt really intimidating – not to mention that I had no idea what it even was. However, I did keep it at the back of my mind and I recently checked out the StyleKorean website to find out what it is.

It turns out that this product is a AHA Scaling Cream – it is essentially a chemical exfoliator in the form of a night cream. It helps to remove dead skin cells, keratin and sebum (which block pores) and to help with skin balance and tone. It comes in two concentrations, 5% and 10%, both of which StyleKorean had generously sent me to review in order to determine what sort of routine and system best worked for my skin type. As reference, I have combination skin which can be both dry and oily in different areas or times. The cream is currently selling for USD$21.03–24.30 on their website, so definitely go and check it out while they are also having sales and special coupons available.

All of that said, let’s go right into the review!
