If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I’m pretty big on moisturising. However, I do have a confession to make – my skin hasn’t been in the best condition in the past couple of years! Whether it’s due to stress or age, I’ve become increasingly aware of my uneven skin tone and dehydration. Sometimes, it’s so severe that essences actually sting to use. I tried different things, but I think I’ve actually discovered my simple solution…

Moisturising. A lot of it.

It sounds ridiculous, but I’ve been obsessed with face creams and found that being more dedicated to my AM routine has really improved my complexion. One product that I found myself reaching for a lot is the 730 Daily Moisture Cream by Vegreen.

For those who are unfamiliar with them, Vegreen is an indie k-beauty skincare brand. Their products are vegan and they are all about using safe, renewable ingredients, as well as sustainable packaging. The brand currently carries four products: the Fragrance-Free Cica Serum, Fragrance-Free Nature Mucin Serum (a non-snail formula), Alcohol-Free Nature Mucin Toner and my top favourite 730 Daily Moisture Cream – which is available on the Vegreen website for USD$15.60 (currently on sale from USD$18.30).

Vegreen Daily Moisture Cream Kbeauty Review

Product Description

As the name suggests, the 730 Daily Moisture Cream is described as an intensive moisturising cream formulated for daily use – it is suitable for “anyone, anywhere, anytime, any condition without skin irritation.” It has a fairly minimalist formation that avoids extra bells and whistles, including fragrances and essential oils; truly suitable for all skin types.

The key ingredient is Neossance Squalane – this helps to prevent ageing through antioxidant activities that rebalance water-oil levels in skin. The rest of the ingredients list is quite short too, with skincare benefits like:

  • Repairing dry, damaged skin
  • Soothing and rejuventating
  • Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits

In addition to these, the formula is also non-comedogenic, vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and environmentally-friendly.

I personally love the simplicity of the Vegreen skincare packaging. With their brand goal of being a gender-neutral, ‘for all’ sort of brand, I think that this works very well. The unit carton (which I unfortunately couldn’t photograph as I’d opened this up weeks before even planning this review), is also fairly simple. From what I could see, it looked to be made from recycled cardboard with a simple typographic design that mirrors the internal packaging.

Opening it up, this uses an aluminium tube with a clean typographic design and a beige band. The quality of this is pretty good and exceeded my expectations. Most aluminium tubes bend and lose shape over time, which I’m not the biggest fan of. I find that the messy appearance deters me from wanting to finish the tube and I always worry that the bending will tear the edges.

However, this tube doesn’t bend as much but still has the benefit of being easy to dispense. As you can see in the photo above, there’s been no excessive creasing and it still looks very neat on my vanity. The cap is secure, stands stable, and the material means that you will be able to get most of the product out from the tube.

I’m pretty happy with the packaging overall. It isn’t anything spectacular and I wouldn’t recommend these as a gifting option, but the simplicity means that it will be visually appealing for a wide audience. Most importantly, it’s functional and good quality.

Personal Experiences

As I mentioned earlier on, I’ve been really focused on moisturising my skin, especially since my AM routine has been super sporadic ever since I started working from home. Out of all of the Vegreen products that I tried out, this 730 Daily Moisture Cream is easily my favourite. This can be used for both AM and PM, but I prefer it in the morning as I generally use sleeping masks at night.

It deeply moisturises my skin with long lasting effects, and doesn’t clog my pores at all. I also like that the texture is lightweight – in fact, it’s almost water-like once it’s spread over skin, with a non-sticky and fast absorbing finish. I used to get concerned about applying too much moisturiser but I can be comfortably generous with this. The instant burst of hydration has a soothing effect on my skin too, especially if you use it right after washing your face.

From my experience, this also worked well under make up and didn’t make my skin greasy later on in the day. It’s definitely one that I would recommend – especially for people with a more sensitive skin type, since the formulation is so minimalist.

After using this with quite a bit of dedication over a few weeks, I could visibly see that my skin texture had improved – it’s a lot more even and smooth, with it’s usual redness somewhat minimised too. That being said, I think the level of visible efficacy here will also depend on your skin concerns. In my case, my skin lacked a lot of moisture and balance, so I saw huge improvements! But either way, it was effective and delivered well on the product claims.

The Verdict

An intensively moisturising daily face cream

  • Simple, minimalist packaging suitable for all ages and genders
  • Short and simple ingredients list
  • Good quality and functional packaging – suitable for travel
  • Non-comedogenic without fragrances or essential oils
  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Lightweight, non-sticky and absorbs well – this works well under make up
  • Long lasting, deep moisturising effect

  • Packaging isn’t the most exciting
  • No ‘extra’ skincare benefits (brightening, acne care etc)

  • PRICE POINT | 4/5
  • PACKAGING | 3/5
  • SOOTHING | 5/5
  • ABSORPTION | 5/5

Absolutely! I really enjoyed using this product and it’s become an AM staple for me. Since the ingredients are so simple and fragrance-free, I’m also comfortable recommending it for a wide variety of skin types. The price point is decent too and the only downside I can think of (both of which are very subjective) is that the packaging design is not very exciting and that some might prefer a more complex formula with more added benefits.
