I have some big news… I’m engaged! I’ll be marrying the love of my life later in the year and I’m so excited to be starting a new chapter of our lives (but very nervous too).

You may have noticed that I haven’t been actively writing since last year and that’s because we have gone through a lot of change in our lives. We had decided to move out together and most of my time had been occupied with trying to adult – and having had the privilege of living with my parents my whole life, I never realised how much work it took! From keeping our place clean, to grocery shopping and trying to cook healthy meals… time was really flying away from us.

However, one of my goals in 2025 is to re-focus on my content creation. I am pleased to share that I am now represented by Meraki Managment and have returned to posting very regularly on my Instagram and Tiktok. You’ll find me updating there the most, but I will also be aiming to start updating this blog again too.

For a re-cap of 2024-2025, here’s some of my personal highlights:

Fell in love (again) with RENT

RENT has been my number one favourite musical since I was a teenager and I honestly thought I would never get to see it live, so I could not pass up the opportunity! We took a short trip to Newcastle to catch a show and also discovered a cute little restaurant too.

Safe to say I cried through the entire show and came out feeling like I had a renewed perspective on life (a common occurrence when ever I re-watch the musical). We had an amazing cast and yes, I bought a t-shirt.

Reset my workspace with Logitech

Logitech is still my go-to when it comes to my workspace and I was so excited to collaborate with them again when it came to refreshing my (brand new) desk space! I’ve been using the MX Keys Mini and MX Anywere 3S ever since and I love the Bluetooth feature. I’m constantly switching between my two computers, so this is a lot more convenient than having two keyboards clogging up space.

I’ve also been loving the Logitech G G733 – I’m a sucker for white and RGB lights, and these had great sound quality and feel really comfortable. Being totally wireless, it also means I can walk to get a coffee in the kitchen without disrupting my Youtube binge.

When Wicked Met OPI

One of my favourite events of 2024 was the launch of the OPI x Wicked collaboration! Yep, it’s all about musicals for me!

Although I have some less than popular (lol) opinions about the movie casting and production, I am still soo excited that Wicked has finally hit movie theatres. They’ve been talking about doing this adaptation for so long that our OG cast has already outgrown the roles!

And what better collaboration than with my favourite nail polish brand OPI! They launched some absolutely stunning new shades (I’m literally wearing one of them as we speak) and some super gorgeous press-on nails too. This was definitely the collab of the year.

Financially Ruined by Labubu

Ironically the year when I had to focus on adulting was the year when I let my inner child run free! I got very much into collecting art toys starting off with Rolife’s Nanci and Pop Mart’s Skullpanda, then culminating into a total Labubu obsession. My collection has grown so much and I’ve gotten my hands on everything from pendants to plushes and both giant Zimomo.

But this addiction has been such a butterfly effect moment because it led to me meeting some amazing new friends, attending my very first SMASH convention… and now also working for said convention as a Senior Designer! Wild right?

Unlocked a new Sephora!

I was so excited to have a new local Sephora opening and was actually so blessed to get VIP access in the morning to experience the brand new store (and get my hands on a bunch of goodies too). I don’t think I have EVER seen a Sephora store so spotlessly clean 😜

I’ve been hitting up the store a lot more now that it’s more accessible for me and I plan on going again in the next few months to try and bunch of foundations. I’m on the hunt for my perfect wedding foundation at the moment so… stay tuned!

Carla Zampatti’s 60th Anniversary Show (Oh my!)

2025 is my second year attending the Carla Zampatti show but it’s also an incredibly special show too as it marked the brand’s 60th anniversary.

I was absolutely in awe of the beautiful designs that hit the runway, as well as the creative collaborations from all of the other designers inspired by Carla Zampatti too. I’m so happy to have been able to capture the stunning Ubiquity collection.

Got engaged, of course!

As mentioned at the beginning of this post, and I think that this needs no extra explaining. I am keeping our relationship quiet aside from some Stories updates on Instagram because my partner is a very private person, so you won’t see me transitioning into any ‘couple account’ any time soon.

That’s a bit of a wrap for now, but I will be updating this blog more regularly than once a year from now (I really do promise). In the meantime, please make sure that you’re following me on Instagram and Tiktok for my latest updates and keep in touch!
