I’m an obsessive gamer, and that’s a side of me that I’ve been sharing more and more of online. I actually started playing again back in 2020 when, during the pandemic lockdown, I finally bit the bullet and bought a gaming console again! I decided to go with the Nintendo Switch but I really wanted to customise my console. I wasn’t a fan of the original colour scheme but also didn’t have the skills to fully re-shell my controllers.

And that’s when I game across Geekshare! They’re a popular online store that specialises in super adorable cases and accessories for gaming consoles, in particular the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation and XBox. One of their latest collections is the Star Wings Collection and I’m telling you.. it’s the cutest! With an expansive range from Nintendo Switch silicone cases to desk mats, you can deck out your entire gaming set up with these magical girl-inspired design.

This entire range is available on the GeekShare website and you can use my code STELLAR10 for 10% off your order.

Star Wings Silicone Dock Cover

The silicone cover fits both the Nintendo Switch and the Switch OLED. It has a slim design that’s easy to install – just slip it over your Switch dock! It also comes with around 12 double sided, round stickers, which you can use if you want a more long-lasting application (I personally only needed 4, so I can re-apply this in the future if I want to swap it around). The silicone has a soft matte finish and the quality feels nice too.

Star Wings Silicone Protective Case & Cream Heart Thumb Grips

Geekshare Pink Wings Collection

If you get one, you need to get both to match!

The Silicone Protective Case comes in three pieces – a semi-hard silicone cover for the screen portion, and then two soft silicone covers for your controllers.

The middle piece clips on perfectly and the cut outs are precise. I love the soft matte finish of it. The cover is also slim enough so that, although it’s a little bit tight, it still fits into my dock. (Please note that GeekShare does warn that some docks may not work)

As for the joycon covers, they have a slightly loose fit due to the more malleable soft silicone but it doesn’t impact the buttons and I love the overall design! You can also use the strips of double sided tape (included in the package) to give an added fix but you will still need to remove the cover to use the standard Comfort Grip. I personally use my covers without the stickers so it’s easier to take on and off.

And if you’re getting this protective case, you need the Cream Heart Thumb Grips to complete the look! The grippy silicone is helpful if you’re playing more combat-intensive games, but otherwise just makes everything look cuter. The soft silicone fits firmly so you don’t need to worry about them sliding off. Each pack also comes with four (two of each design), so you can mix up the shapes.

Star Wings Switch Game Card Case

If you’re like me and prefer to buy physical game cards instead of e-store downloads, then you’ll be needing a case. This Star Wings Switch Game Card Case is made from a good quality hard plastic, with the same soft-matte finish silicone on the front design. It’s waterproof, oil-proof and scratch-resistant, and I love that it matches with the rest of my console too.

The inside houses a total of 16 game cards (and there is also a 24 game card option). It has a soft silicone interior that holds the cards securely without any risk of scratching. It also has an easy magnetic closure. A good Game Card Case is definitely something that I would consider a necessity.

Star Wings Carrying Case for Switch&OLED

On a similar note of travel-friendly cases, I am loving the Star Wings Carrying Case! I always keep my Switch in this if I’m going travelling or just taking it out on-the-go. I love the unique 3D star design, as well as the wrist strap and cute star charms on the zip. The exterior is made from a combination of silicone and faux leather, whilst the interior has a soft-touch plush lining. It also has space for up to 10 game cards and smaller accessories.

Star Wings Mouse Pad (And Wrist Rest)

If you want to match up your entire gaming set up, GeekShare have also included a matching Mousepad (available in large – which is pictured – and a smaller size) and Wrist Rest.

The Mousepad is made from a slightly textured faux leather material. It’s thin but soft, with a nice luxe feel. The print quality is good with vibrant colours, and I love the unique shape! However, it is pretty big (86cm by 39cm to be precise) so I’m waiting to do a full clean up before I can properly use this.

If you’re typing for long periods of time too, you may also be interested to check out their Wrist Rest. This can help to relieve wrist pressure while working and gaming. This is cushiony and also has a non-slip silicone back. The print is a bit darker than mousepad, most likely because of the fabric, but the design is still super cute! I’ve been using this at my work desk already.

Geekshare Pink Wings Collection

GeekShare have done a brilliant job with their Star Wings Collection, and I am so happy to have it all in my hands. I’m such a visual person so having my console decorated and having nice desk decor really uplifts my mood. I love the magical girl inspiration in this collection and as someone whose name literally means ‘Star’, I especially love all of the star motifs!

That said, the Star Wings Collection seems to be selling fast as some pieces are already sold out as I write this, so make sure you jump onto GeekShare quickly. And remember to use my code STELLAR10 for 10% off your order!
