When it comes to k-beauty make up, I can be picky – so I’m super loyal to brands I love. I’ve been obsessed with Romand (stylised as Rom&nd) for the past few years: they have gorgeous packaging, top notch formulations and some of the best colour selections, so I’m always recommending them! Today, I’ll be sharing with you a special selection from their core range – everything you need for an everyday, Korean make up inspired look.
If you’re keen on anything or want to see what all the hype is about, head on over to Beautyworks Cosmetica. To celebrate the launch of Romand to their store, they are also giving away a full-sized Zero Velvet Lipstick (Deep Soul) with any Romand online orders – just make sure to use the code FIRST50ROMAND at check out!
NOTE: This offer is valid for the first 50 orders. Beautyworks ships within Australia only.
Better Than Palette – Shade & Shadow Garden
The Better Than Palette range is Romand’s first foray into larger palettes and, let me tell you this, they killed it. I have almost all of the colour variations and I reach for them all the time – the mattes are soft, buildable and so easy to work with. They’re perfect for all experience levels and they have a diverse range of shades and depths too.
This Shade & Shadow Garden variation contains ten warm-neutral shades, making it the perfect make up staple!
Better Than Shape – Walnut Grain
I can’t do my makeup without contouring and these multi-toned contour pacts are my go to! The Better Than Shape contour powder comes in two shades (Oat Grain for cool toned skin, and Walnut Grain for warm tones). Both compacts feature two different colours for a more natural look – this is especially important for nose contouring.
Walnut Grain is a little too warm for me, but the powder is so smooth and buildable! I’ll definitely be looking to pick up Oat Grain in the future and will continue to use this one as a bronzer.
Zero Velvet Tint – Nerd Pink
This was essentially love at first sight for me! To be honest, I haven’t always been a fan of the Zero Velvet Tint (I prefer their glossier options) but I’m obsessed. This gorgeous deep pink shade is so pretty and works perfectly with the blurred, soft formula.
It does require some re-application throughout the day and has a tendency to emphasize dry spots though, so I would recommend using a lip sleeping mask the night before (my personal favourite is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask). Alternatively, you can also gloss this up by applying a dewy lip balm beneath!
Better Than Cheek – Pear Chip
I’ve been a fan of the Better Than Cheek blushes for a long time now and I’m so excited to have a new colour in my collection! These powder blushes have a soft, easy to blend formula. The shade range tends to be quite light, but has a buildable pigmentation that still shows up vibrant on my skin. I would mostly recommend this for people with a lighter complexion (up to a Korean Shade 23). Pear Chip is a great daily blush option and would work well for people who like a very natural make up look.
Whether you’re a current Romand fan or are simply curious about this brand, make sure you head on over to Beautyworks to check out their range – I love their formulas and genuinely believe that they’re a standout amongst any k-beauty cosmetic brands.
Also, don’t forget to take advantage of the free gift promotion too – use the code FIRST50ROMAND to receive a free full-sized Zero Velvet Lipstick (Deep Soul) with your Romand orders (first 50 orders only).
