When it comes to k-beauty make up, I can be picky – so I’m super loyal to brands I love. I’ve been obsessed with Romand (stylised as Rom&nd) for the past few years: they have gorgeous packaging, top notch formulations and some of the best colour selections, so I’m always recommending them! Today, I’ll be sharing with you a special selection from their core range – everything you need for an everyday, Korean make up inspired look.

If you’re keen on anything or want to see what all the hype is about, head on over to Beautyworks Cosmetica. To celebrate the launch of Romand to their store, they are also giving away a full-sized Zero Velvet Lipstick (Deep Soul) with any Romand online orders – just make sure to use the code FIRST50ROMAND at check out!

NOTE: This offer is valid for the first 50 orders. Beautyworks ships within Australia only.

Review: Our Own Summer Pink Collection (Romand)

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

It’s summer time in Korea and, naturally, Romand came to us with the goods! The Our Own Summer Pink Collection is fairly compact, consisting of a brand new Better Than Eyes quad in Dry Strawberry as well as two new Juicy Lasting Tints (in Very Berry Pink and Pink Popsicle).

This collection was designed for those with a Cool Summer personal colour (which you can read more about here). The shadows have a natural, soft colour scheme that’s perfect for every day and the tints have a translucent formula that makes it super wearable for different skin tones and depths.

All of these are available at StyleKorean for a limited time only, so pop on over there if you want to pick them up – honestly, Romand is always worth it for me.

And now, let’s get into this review!

Feature: 10 Gorgeous Make Up Products for Your Vanity

10 Gorgeous Make Up Products - Beauty Feature Article

Please note that referral and/or affiliate links are used in this post.

The beauty industry moves fast and there are new release products coming out almost every day. With the prominence of social media, it’s also impossible to deny how important packaging is. Whilst the actual formula and product is still the most important, you can’t have a successful product unless you’re nice to look at too! That’s my opinion anyway.

In this list, I’ll be sharing with you some gorgeous packaging and also why I love them (from both a designer and consumer perspective). Consider this a gift guide or even a shopping guide for when you’re wanting to make your next purchase.

As reference, I love packaging design that is unique, speaks well to the brand identity but is also practical and highly functional. So, don’t expect me to be listing pizza shapes eyeshadow palettes or chunky, cat paw lipsticks though – no one has the time (or vanity space) for that!

Review: Better than Palette in Light & Glitter (Romand)

Romand Better Than Palette Kbeauty Makeup Review - Light & Glitter

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

If you’re a fan of Romand and glitter, then I’m certain that you’ve already seen this palette. After the popularity of their initial four Better Than Palettes (which I also reviewed here and on Instagram), they actually released another two – Shade & Shadow and Light & Glitter. The first is an all-matte brown palette, similar to the Dusty Fog Garden but with more neutral tones. It’s great for contouring or a natural, no-make up look. Meanwhile, the second is an all-glitter palette, featuring a number of different textures and reflects!

The Light & Glitter is definitely the one that caught my eye the most – I love the Romand glitter formula and having an entire ten pan palette of options sounded like a dream come true. That being said, they’re both currently available on StyleKorean (USD$24, on sale from USD$30) so pop on over there if you’re already keen on them.

If you need some more information to decide though, read on this review for full details and swatches!

Review: Lip Bokki Edition (Romand)

Romand Dokbeokki Collection

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

I know what you’re thinking – another Romand review? Honestly, I just couldn’t help it. As I had mentioned in the past, I’m a huge fan of the brand and I try to get their limited edition releases; and this Lip Bokki Edition set was just too cute to pass up! Rather than a full collection, this is a stand-alone set of mini lip products. It’s a good option for those who just want to try out the different formulas or as a cute gift (and would be especially great for people who love make up and Korean street food)!

This is going to be a fairly short review, as I mostly want to go through what is actually in this kit, but I wanted to get this up soon because – I believe – this collaboration is now discontinued. It is still available on StyleKorean but is likely not going to be restocked.

If you’re keen to pick this up, head on over there – the Lip Bokki Edition set is just USD$25.20 (on sale from USD$36), and is still available in either green or red packaging. And, lets get into this review!
