Review: Performance Eye 8X Palette (Moonshot)

Moonshot Rebrand Performance Eye 8X Palette and Cushion Light Fixing Review

Continuing on from my last Moonshot review, here’s to introducing their new Performance 8X Palettes! Even after all these years, I’m truly weak for a great eyeshadow palette and I never fail to test one out when ever I’m reviewing a new brand – or, in this case, a new re-brand.

Since Moonshot’s original concept was all about bold looks and shaking up the k-beauty industry, I actually thought that they would come back with something new colourful. From what I’m seeing, their current offering still features mostly neutral shades but they can still be used to create strong looks. The shades are very on-trend and are the type of colours that you might see on idols now – which I think works for the whole ‘performance‘ concept.

I got my hands on two out of the three colour variations – Rhythmic Burn and Blazing but all three are available at StyleKorean for USD$23 (on sale from USD$33).

Brand Spotlight: Amuse, the Vegan K-Beauty Brand

If you’re a fan of Red Velvet (the kpop group), then you have definitely heard of Amuse before – because their brand model is Seulgi! Based in Seoul, they’re a fairly new beauty brand that’s all about clean, vegan formulas (certified by Eye Vegan), sustainability, and well as unique colours that bring happiness and good vibes.

I was originally introduced to Amuse through StyleKorean‘s recommendation, as they’ve started to stock a huge range of their products. After that, I took my time painstakingly deciding what I wanted to try, because I was essentially keen on everything.. but I think I made some great choices!

Read on to see some of the different formulations by Amuse, including their Eye Vegan Sheer Palette, Blush Kit and Dew Velvet Lip Tint. I also have a review of their cushions coming soon, but I wanted to keep those separate. Check out StyleKorean to shop their entire rane but before you do, let’s get into this post.

Review: Winter Checkered Special Pouch Kit (Etude House)

Etude House Winter Checkered Special Pouch Kit - StyleKorean K-Beauty Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

I love collecting limited edition releases, especially when it’s makeup! This is probably where the majority of my money goes – I’m just super weak for cute packaging and fun concepts. For Christmas, Etude House had released their Winter Checkered Special Pouch Kit. It features an exclusive eyeshadow quad, packaged with a velvet drawstring pouch and a pretty box. This is essentially a gift that doesn’t need wrapping at all!

Although this review is coming a little late (it is February after all), this is still available on StyleKorean for USD$21 – on sale from USD$30. I’m actually quite impressed with the formula so, if you’re looking for a super wearable eyeshadow quad, this is going to be a fun gift to yourself.

Now, let’s get into this review!

Review: Our Own Summer Pink Collection (Romand)

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

It’s summer time in Korea and, naturally, Romand came to us with the goods! The Our Own Summer Pink Collection is fairly compact, consisting of a brand new Better Than Eyes quad in Dry Strawberry as well as two new Juicy Lasting Tints (in Very Berry Pink and Pink Popsicle).

This collection was designed for those with a Cool Summer personal colour (which you can read more about here). The shadows have a natural, soft colour scheme that’s perfect for every day and the tints have a translucent formula that makes it super wearable for different skin tones and depths.

All of these are available at StyleKorean for a limited time only, so pop on over there if you want to pick them up – honestly, Romand is always worth it for me.

And now, let’s get into this review!

Review: Real Eye Palette is Apricot Me and Mauve Me (Espoir)

Espoir Real Eye Palette in Apricot Me and Mauve Me Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

A couple of months ago, I tried out Espoir (stylized as eSpoir) for the first time but, of course, I couldn’t stop there. If you follow me on Instagram, or have read many of my reviews here at all, you’ll know that I’m absolutely weak for eyeshadow palettes. I have a huge collection and, whilst I really don’t need anymore, I just find so much joy in them… so I had to try these.

These are the Real Eye Palettes from Espoir. I have two colour variants here but there are five in total. The colour stories are fairly self explanatory too: Mauve Me, Apricot Me, Nude Mood, Peachy Like and Rosy Feed. These are ‘every day eyeshadow palettes’ that are intended to be easy to use and wearable for every day.

The two that I will be reviewing today is the Apricot Me and Mauve Me, both newly released in 2021 and currently available on StyleKorean for USD$31.60 (On sale from $35.20). Head on over there to check these out but, before you go, lets get into this review and some swatches.
